OLYMPIC TRAILS

  

 Its no secret that I love the Olympics, ever since the trails began I've been glued to the t.v. Lucky for me, the gymnastics Olympic trails were held in San Jose, CA this year and Ashlee and I got tickets!!! I can't explain how exciting it was to cheer on the USA. It was so inspiring to watch the gymnast, who have worked so hard most of their lives,  reach their goals. I have to admit they were all pretty good looking too haha. Stay tuned for more Olympic fun. Always Grateful

Well its about time that I jump on the blogging band wagon. I have to warn that I think this is gonna be a tad rocky but I've been feeling impressed to start sooo ready or not, my bloggin friends, here I come.
For my first post, I wanted I share, briefly, my testimony and the thoughts I've had recently.

Its funny how Heavenly Father grants us tender mercies when life gets a little tricky. My "tender mercy" has been a deep feeling of gratitude for everything but especially for the atonement of Jesus Christ. I read these verse in the Book of Mormon and was touch how loving and kind our Heavenly Father is for sending His Son. "O my brethren, if ye could be healed by merely casting about your eye that ye might be healed, would you not behold quickly, or would ye rather harden your hearts in unbelief, and be slothful, that ye would not cast about your eyes, that ye might perish?...cast your eyes and begin to believe in the Son of God, that he will come to redeem his people, and that he shall suffer and die to atone for their sins; and that he shall rise again from the dead, which shall bring to pass the resurrection...and may God grant unto you that your burdens may be light, through the joy of his Son." 
I know that Jesus Christ lives and that through  him we can be healed, our burdens can be light and we can feel the peace that we each long for only through him.
